After breakfast, our guide and car pick you up to Tam Coc (or Trang An) wharf. Take a small sampan to visit Tam Coc or Trang An:
- Tam Coc, which is literally known “three Caves”, the first cave (Hang Ca) is the longest one, which is considered a real rainbow in the water in the morning time stretching on both sides of the Ngo Dong River. The quiet movements of the oars create a sort of musical rhythm inside the cave. As the sampan leave the cave, you can see what seems to be an old man with white beard fishing, fairy flying in the clouds, peasants collecting fuel and a group of white goats grazing on the hills. The sampan takes you to the second cave (Hang Hai) and the third cave (Hang Ba) before returning to the sampan wharf.
- Or Trang An: In May 2012, Trang An was recognized as a national heritage site, and four months later, the culture ministry submitted a dossier on the complex to the UNESCO for its recognition as a World Heritage Site. We take the boat through the stunning scenery of Trang An surrounded by Limestone Mountains known as “Ha Long Bay on Land”. Forested limestone peaks contrasting with emerald waters, caves, lowlands and rivers create a mysterious fairytale-like scene. We then visit a network of 11 caves with beautiful stalactites of all shapes and colors
Have lunch at local restaurant.
After lunch, enjoy the 2-hour bicycle ride along the back roads through beautiful scenery of karst mountain, rice paddies and rural villages. On the bike, we will have many chances to stop and take photographs.
