HALF DAY CYCLING TOUR TO COUNTRYSIDE AND THANH TOAN BRIDGE
(From 8.00am to 12.00 or from 14.00 to 18.00)
Hue, originally called Phu Xuan, was built in 1687 and became the cultural, religious and economic capital of the Nguyen Dynasty from 1744 to 1945. The actual name of the city was a corruption of the name Than Hoa, where Hoa signified “peace” or “harmony” in Vietnamese.
In the morning, take a bicycle through Hue countryside. We may stop at some villages and fields for a closer look at rural life. The cycling loop is a perfect chance the see the rice fields on season and to learn how Vietnamese farmers drive bicycles. Visit Rice Cultivation House and the historical Thanh Toan Bridge.
