HOW TO ENTER VIETNAM
VIETNAM FULLY REOPENED THE COUNTRY:
Vietnam fully reopened the country’s borders on 15 March, 2022 after nearly two years of closure since Covid pandemic.
The Ministry of Health updated the new policies for foreigners entering Vietnam from 15 March only need to furnish a negative Covid-19 test certificate and no quarantine.
HOW TO ENTER VIETNAM
Before departure, the travelers can take the test using the RT-PCR method within 72 hours or the rapid antigen methods within 24 hours. If any ones cannot take a test before arrival, they also can do it within 24 hours after entering and can leave their accommodation if the result is negative.
The new policy of Vietnam Government is considered as the same or less strict than pretty much the entire rest of the world. All travelers entering Vietnam just need follow some below easy requirements:
- They should monitor their health for the first 10 days after arrival and notify medical staff if they have symptoms of Covid.
- They must also use the PC-Covid app during their stay in Vietnam.
- Children under two years are exempt from testing.
VISA POLICY AFTER COVID PANDEMIC
On the same day, the government announced the resumption of visa waivers for citizens of 13 countries, including Belarus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Norway, Russia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, and the U.K. They can to visit Vietnam for up to 15 days without a visa regardless of passport type and entry purpose. Vietnam restored almost visa policy as before the pandemic
So, finally, the country has announced to lift most of travel restrictions from March 15, 2022 when foreign tourists can visit the country just with negative covid test result.
