HANOI – HOA LU TEMPLES – TRANG AN (OR TAM COC) – HANOI
(From 08.00 to 17.30)
We leave Hanoi by road for Tam Coc. It takes around 3 hours to arrive in Tam Coc and you have a good chance to see the landscapes along the road. The first stop is visiting Hoa Lu which is the Ancient Royal capital of Viet Nam. Here you will visit two temples dedicated to Dinh and Le Kings. We then transfer to Tam Coc and have lunch at local restaurant there.
After lunch, take a small sampan at the wharf to visit Tam Coc, which is literally known “three Caves”, the first cave (Hang Ca) is the longest one, which is considered a real rainbow in the water in the morning time stretching on both sides of the Ngo Dong River. The quiet movements of the oars create a sort of musical rhythm inside the cave. As the sampan leave the cave, you can see what seems to be an old man with white beard fishing, fairy flying in the clouds, peasants collecting fuel and a group of white goats grazing on the hills. The sampan takes you to the second cave (Hang Hai) and the third cave (Hang Ba) before returning to the sampan wharf. Transfer back to you hotel in Hanoi.
