DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN PHNOM PENH

Phnom Penh was a hub for both the Khmer Empire and French colonialists. As the capital city, it’s the largest and wealthiest city in Cambodia. It’s also the cultural, commercial and political center of the country.
DAY 2: PHNOM PENH CITY TOUR – DRIVE TO SIEM REAP

After breakfast at the hotel, set out for your morning tour of Phnom Penh. The visits include Royal Palace, one of the most splendid architectural achievements of the capital; Silver Pagoda, a phenomenal area in Cambodia filled with hundreds of years of history; The National Museum. This offers a charming setting for a stunning collection of ancient Khmer art; Wat Phnom. This temple has a strong connection with the establishment of the capital city of Cambodia. The last one to visit in the morning is Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. It was one of the hundreds of detention and interrogation centers created all over Cambodia by the Khmer Rouge. After lunch, you will be transferred to Siem Reap (travel time approximately 6 hours). Arrive in Siem Reap late in evening, check-in and stay for the night.
DAY 3: ANGKOR WAT COMPLEX

After breakfast, with your private guide you will start to visit The Southern Gate of Angkor Thom, famous Bayon, Baphuon and Phimeanakas. temples, plus Terraces of the Elephant and leper King, Lunch at a nice restaurant in town.
In the afternoon, your discovery continues on with Ta prohm. This place is known for the huge trees and the massive roots growing out of its walls. The jungle temple also featured in the adventure movie “The tomb raider”; several shots were filmed here. Followed by the explore of Angkor wat temple, the 7th Wonder of the Ancient World. End your day with a climb up to Bakheng Hill to watch the sunset over Angkor Wat and the surrounding area.
DAY 4: LOST CITY OF KOH KER & BENG MELEA TEMPLES

It takes over 2hr morning drive to the lost city of Koh Ker, passing through pleasant countryside to Beng Mealea village, where you’ll make a brief stop before continuing on to the first temple complex. The first visit is to Prasat Pram, with its 5 towers, some of which are draped in tree roots. Visit the small reservoir of Andong Preng (the sacred well of oil) before finishing the morning part of the tour at Prasat Thom. See the large moat, the 37-meter-high Prasat Thom pyramid, and numerous thousand-year-old brick temples and shrines.
After lunch, heading out on the eastern part of the circuit, which features some of the largest temple lingas of the Khmer Empire. Thence, move south to the jungle temple of Beng Mealea, situated behind huge walls and dripping with vegetation. You’ll have time for an in-depth exploration of this temple, taking an unusual route to see parts of these ruins seldom visited. New ramps and steps have made access easier, but in some areas, you’ll be scrambling over tumbled blocks, and traversing high walls.
End the day by the return drive for overnight in Siem Reap.
DAY 5: DEPARTURE FROM SIEM REAP

Today is your last day! It’s up to the time of your departure flight, you are free to do some last shopping or just leisure at hotel until time get picked up for the airport transfer around 3 hours prior to your departure time).
