STUNNING RICE TERRACES

DAY 1 – HANOI/ MU CANG CHAI
Included meals: Lunch/ Dinner
Departure at 8:00 a.m. from your hotel in Hanoi. After getting out of bustle and hustle Hanoi, you will enjoy the countryside view through the windows while driving northwestward to Yen Bai province.
Around noontime, lunch is served at a local restaurant on the way.
In the afternoon, you will have a couple of scenic stops for taking photographs at Khau Pha Pass and at a viewpoint in Che Cu Nha.
Late in the afternoon, arrive at your accommodation, check in and relax for the remainder of the day.
*Note: If you don’t want to stay on local stilt house, you can stay at a comfortable bungalow of Mu Cang Chai Eco-lodge (with extra charge – please let us know when you make the reservation)
DAY 2- MU CANG CHAI TREK
Included meals: Breakfast/ Picnic Lunch/ Dinner
At 8:30 after the breakfast, get transferred to a trekking point for the whole-day trek to enjoy Vietnam’s national rice terrace heritage. The trek will start from Che Cu Nha commune to La Pan Tan Commune. It is around 10 km and takes most of the day. This trek will definitely offer you a good opportunity to see the main spots and admire the beauty of amazing rice terraces that Mu Cang Chai has to offer. You will also be able to trek through a couple of the H’mong hill tribe villages and may have chance to interact with the locals, learn about their interesting daily life and culture.
Picnic lunch is prepared for you today.
Around 4:00 p.m. get picked up by the private vehicle, return to the accommodation for the second night.
DAY 3 – MU CANG CHAI/ DRIVE TO SAPA
Included meals: Breakfast/ Lunch
After the breakfast, we will bid farewell to the host family and make our way to Sapa. We will have some stops on the way for photographing today such as Than Thuoc Tea Plantation, O Quy Ho Pass, Silver Waterfall… Have lunch at a restaurant upon arrival in Sapa. In the afternoon, enjoy the trek through Muong Hoa Valley. The first village is Lao Chai village where you can see H’mong minority dressed in the traditional costume that is unique to the Northern region. Witness a truly simple but traditional way of life that exists as it has done for centuries. We tour their villages and traditional houses surrounded by the unspoilt beauty of nature as well as enjoying the hill tribe hospitality before we return to the town. Continuing on, we visit Ta Van village – the village of Zay minority.
Check in hotel in Sapa town and leisure. Overnight in Sapa
DAY 4 – SAPA/ CABLE CAR TO FANSIPAN/ DRIVE BACK TO HANOI
Included meals: Breakfast/ Lunch
After breakfast, checking out of your room and transfer to the meeting point to take the cable car to Fansipan Peak. From here, you will enjoy the panorama view of Sapa. Have lunch at local restaurant.
In the afternoon, get transfer back to Hanoi via the highway. The transfer takes around 5 hours. Arrive in Hanoi in late afternoon, end of our tour
